here a batch of NOS polystyrene's for the U47 are being de-scaled manually with an X-a
cto blade, as the wire leads are not stiff enough to be cleaned with a steel brush. Some variation of this process is also done to older paper-in-oil capacitors that we use in the M49 and U47s and to the NOS polypropylene capacitors in the M49.
