you know when you start measuring the insulation qualities of different materials, wire, and capsule mounts, that you have an OCD problem... lol not really, it's produced some very interesting results, including finding one affordable Asian capsule mount with excellent properties and one high end manufacturer with surprisingly poor ones. Alot of this is information I keep private, along with alot of other personal R&D, but results in better and better microphones from us.
